Yes, if you want it to. Turn on speak other languages and the receptionist can reply to a caller in their own language, with a native voice you choose for each one. Prefer to keep every call in one language? Leave it off and it stays in your main language, whoever rings. Australian salons serve every kind of client, and nobody should lose a booking over language.

DeskOwl gives you a booking page clients reach from a link you can share anywhere, and if you do have a website, the same booking widget drops into it in your own branding. Either way you choose what's bookable online, and you can ask for a deposit at booking, collected through Stripe and paid straight into your own account, which does wonders for no-shows.
Bring it with you. Import your clients and their visit history from a spreadsheet, and DeskOwl recognises your regulars from day one: greeted by name, their usual service offered first. Clients are matched by phone number, so re-importing is always safe.
It only ever works from your own salon's details. Before you go live we sit down and load them in for you: your services, your prices, how long each one takes, the gap while colour develops, and which stylist does what. There are no forms for you to fill in. After that it only offers times you can actually do, and if a caller asks something it doesn't know, it says so and passes the message to you rather than guessing.
