Editing your website
Change the look, the words and the photos from the Website screen, with a live preview beside you.
Open Website from the left menu. The page is split: your settings on the left, and a live preview of the site on the right that updates as you change things.
What you can change
- Look: a colour palette and a font pairing. There are twenty-five palettes, and the preview shows each one before you commit.
- Words: your headline, the line under it, and your about section. If you would rather not write them, there is a button that writes a first draft from what you have already set up, which you can then edit.
- Gallery: photos of your work. Upload several at once.
- Reviews: show your Google reviews on the page, all of them or only those at or above a rating you choose.
- Team: who to show, and a line about each of them.
- Services: which parts of your menu to show, and their photos.
- Good to know: your hours, address, parking, and anything else worth saying.
- Questions: the answers clients ask for most. These can be drafted for you too.
- Links and legal: your social accounts and your business details in the footer.
The settings are in the same order as the page they build, so working down the list is the same as working down the site. Choose Publish when you are happy, and the live site updates within seconds.
Good to know. Nothing you change is live until you publish, so you can leave a half-finished idea and come back to it.
